    Description: This American Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid and Stop the Bleed class will help participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies for adults, children, and infants. This interactive training will prepare you to recognize severe emergencies and how to act on them. First Aid emergencies include seizure, stroke, asthma, snake bites, spider bites, heat/cold emergencies, and much more! Through our STOP THE BLEED® course, you’ll gain the ability to recognize life-threatening bleeding and intervene effectively. The person next to a bleeding victim may be the one who’s most likely to save him or her. After successful completion of the course, you will receive an American Red Cross certificate for CPR/AED/First Aid and another certificate for STOP THE BLEED®.

    Description: The HAZWOPER refresher course recertifies and maintains competencies learned in the HAZWOPER 24-Hour or 40-Hour courses and must be taken annually. The 8-hour refresher is split over two days. Day 1 will be in a classroom and go over some of the basic reminders and hot topics in HAZWOPER. Day 2 will be “hands-on,” reviewing monitoring/sampling equipment, then do a demo/walk-through with the City of Richardson Fire Department’s HAZMAT Truck.
